A to Z Challenge Pawsitive Pondering: N is for Ninja!

Posted on Apr 16, 2011 by Lisa Ricard Claro   22 Comments | Posted in A-Z Challenge · cat · Luna · Pawsitive Pondering

Lovely Luna is back to help us celebrate the letter “N”.  She is a six month old rescue (found in a storm drain at three weeks old) who struts about the house with a personality full of cattitude. It is no wonder she loves the letter “N.”

Pawsitive Pondering

N is for Ninja:

Be you feline, canine or human, know this:
Awesome ninja skills can never be overrated.
Hi-Yah!
And after a good ninja work out. . .

N is for Nap:

Exhausted from using your super ninja skills to save the world
from evil kitty toys and red laser lights?
Curl up and catch a little shut-eye,
but remember this:
Be sure the water is off
before you hide in a sink!

See you Monday for more A to Z and the letter O!

Hi-Yah!
Lisa

It's been decades since I've had a kitten in the house, but your photos of Luna reminded me of how their crazy railing against gravity can be so entertaining. When my husband and I got married, my parents took care of my daughter and housesat. Wilbur was a kitten then, and my parents—not really "cat people"—were amazed when he would (often) run around the apartment and then suddenly fly into the air and land on their shoulders/head as they sat on the couch. Beware of flying objects or cats or—specifically—Ninja cats!

omg ninja is such a perfect word for this. I have never had any pets and don't see them in action much, these photos are really something!

Those are really great shots and she is truly amazing. I really love that first one though I am glad it is your door way. She really has an exotic, wild look. Love those belly spots. Such a beautiful, expensive looking stray. You are both lucky.

Hi Lisa, Luna is really something else, isn't she? I have never seen a cat climb up a door frame like that before. I wonder how she first thought of that idea. She sure has been a neat addition to your family, hasn't she? If you have time to check out my letter N (you'll need to scroll down past the chicken), I think that it will make you laugh. It is my first self-published poem, lol.Have a wonderful weekend!Kathy

Thanks for your comments everyone. Luna actually didn't climb — she was jumping up to grab a kitty toy. I couldn't believe a kitten could jump so high! She's a wonder, and she keeps us entertained.

Luna has some stellar ninja skills, comparable to our own eight-month-old monster. Just don't let her get her paws on a pair of nunchucks. Trust me on this.

What a pretty little tabby! Similar colors to our Baby Cat, but without BC's white. Ours also gets in the sink. I think it's a tabby thing.I wanted to let you know I've added you to my list of recipients for an award you can pay forward to those whose blogs you admire. You can find the badge here on my last blog: http://sjerzgirl-frustratedfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/04/award-to-forward.html
