Bald Eagle, Adorable Dog, Cute Canadian Guys—You’re Welcome!

Posted on Dec 4, 2015 by Lisa Ricard Claro   14 Comments | Posted in Observations From the Tub

Today’s Observations from the Tub brings you a video of a pair of Canadian brothers, Michael and Neil Fletcher, who rescued a bald eagle from a trap, took a selfie with the magnificent bird, and then set it free. I was impressed with the dog—a Golden Retriever, I think—which, in spite of his excitement, mostly stayed out of the way so his human companions could free the glorious raptor. Here you go!

Beautiful bald eagle. Adorable dog. Super cute Canadian guys.  My work here is done. 🙂

Have a great weekend! See you Monday for Pawsitive Pondering.

Those guys were gutsy. (And the golden tried really hard to retrieve.)

What an incredible experience. If they hadn’t taken the video and the picture, I might have been dubious.

    Wow! Thanks for sharing, Lisa.

Lisa–They’re too close to my son’s age. Some things are too creepy (to admit in public 😉

I seen this on the news, eh. Sorry, it’s the only Canadian I know. 🙂

Isn’t it nice to see a feel good story once in a while? All life is important, but Man often overlooks the value of the animal/bird kingdom. Have a good weekend!

Wow! Hope the bird is okay. Eagles are such amazing creatures. (The guys weren’t bad, either)

Finally! A comment about the guys. lol I thought they were adorable, all three of them (the two guys and the dog), and that the eagle was magnificent. Wonderful that they were able to successfully free him.

Hey Lisa, just the title of this post made me LOL! (Can you tell I’ve missed my weekly doses of Lisa?!) Brave guys, lucky eagle — and the dog adds just the right touch of smiles. Sorry I’ve been so absent lately. I know I’ve missed a lot 🙁 Hope you are well, my friend.

Hi Teri – I hope you’ve just been busy with the holidays and not ill from this nasty bug that’s been going around. It’s always nice to see your name in the comments, but I understand when you’re too busy to make it over here. I get frustrated with FB because it shows me such random posts and I don’t always see yours. I have to go out to your page and scroll to see what you’ve posted.
