Banish the Rainy Day Blues!

Posted on Nov 6, 2015 by Lisa Ricard Claro   9 Comments | Posted in Observations From the Tub

We’ve had rainy days galore here in Georgia. There are mud holes in my yard that weren’t there two weeks ago, and the creek behind the house is swollen high and running fast. We’re on a slope and don’t fear flooding, but a few homeowners farther down the road are probably keeping close watch on the rising water. What’s the weather doing where you are?

In an effort to banish the rainy-week blues, I’m posting a video I came across that cracked me up. Although dog and cat lovers know not all fur babies play to these stereotypes, it’s still pretty funny. If this doesn’t blow the gray skies away, nothing will. Take a look, and if you have dogs and/or cats, do they fit these stereotypes, or not so much?

Have a wonderful weekend. See you Monday for Pawsitive Pondering!

Mine too, Cathy. Mine too. And we’ve had so many leaves come down that it’s slippery back there! But everything is so drenched there’s no way to clean it all up yet. Gah.

Slow Rain is off and on here. Clear again this morning but air chillier. First freeze due this weekend. Blah! Long range forecast is for colder and wetter winter…not what I need to hear. Sounds like you are way too wet! Just grateful for any sunny day I can get!!! Happy weekend to you.

Fortunate that the weather is still mild, 60s all next week and maybe the next. Not bad for November. Animal videos make my day. My cat could have his own video except I’d have to film him at midnight when he goes running like a crazy gut through the house.

The cat cracked me up. So enthused. lol Our cats don’t fit that stereotype. They’re affectionate and seek us out if we’ve been gone from home, but I know a lot of people are more likely to hear those crickets.

I just got this in my inbox today? It’s cooling off here. It’s snowing on the mountain; I can see snow from the house now.

Hi Lisa! We have rain and even thunder today in Northern California which is much needed and such a novelty that I am enjoying it. Loved the video! Recently I had to have a groomer come to my house to shave matted balls of fur off one of our cats. It was not pleasant for anyone! My little dog is snuggling in my lap now, an angel in comparison…

We had a very rainy summer here in SW Florida but it’s not been too bad lately.

I love the video! Buttons does the pawing and nudging with his nose to be petted like one of the dogs; and he can be very insistent. I’m happy to say he doesn’t do most of the other not so nice things, though. 🙂
