Be a Winner – Help Fat Kitty City!

Rigby and Tabby Snuggle pinWednesday greetings, in-the-Buffers! A short post this week as I have another milestone to reach. BUT, there is something important to share.

Signed copies of my novels, Love Built to Last and Love to Believe, are up for grabs at the Pens for Paws online auction. Please go throw your bid in the pot. No bid is too small, and you might just win.  Here are the details:

Pens for Paws (www.pensforpaws.blogspot.com) is hosting an online auction for Fat Kitty City, a no-kill, cage-free, cat and dog sanctuary in El Dorado Hills, California. The goodies you can bid on include books, query and manuscript critiques from big name agents and editors (names you’ll recognize), jewelry, and other great stuff.

This is for a great cause, Buttercup. Please go bid on my books! I’m throwing in some swag and other goodies in addition to the books. Even if you already have your copies of Love Built to Last and Love to Believe, you can always gift them to a friend if you win.  🙂  The money goes straight to Fat Kitty City. But please don’t wait—bidding ends today.

Remember, NO BID IS TOO SMALL. Check it out, friends, and help Fat Kitty City rescue more animals in need.

Thanks in advance.

Robert Robinson’s interview about his book, Rocky Mountain Pastels, will be posted next week. See you then!

Lisa

Thanks for the shoutout! We have some lovely calico kitties at the sanctuary, including lots of torties. That calico looks nearly as big as the dog in that photo! Love it

That’s Tabitha aka Tabby aka Queen of Everything. She’s vocal as all get out and quite cranky these days. But she’s a snuggler and very affectionate. We rescued her from the local animal shelter almost 17 years ago, and she’s been giving us orders ever since. 🙂

This photo will come back to bite that dog in the ass if it ever runs for president. Don’t laugh. Judging from the current candidates, why not a dog for president?

Haha! I agree! I posted here a few weeks ago that I’m ready to vote for Snoopy. Our guy Rigby, in the pic with the cat, would only run for president if he was ensured a lifetime supply of Beggin’ Strips.

Fat Kitty City – I just love that name! It might make a good book title too. 🙂

Yes, it would be a great title, Karen. And these folks do good work!

Unfortunately, I got there too late. The bidding was closed. Someone was lucky enough to win your books… Just not me. ;(
