Contest: Name That Blog – Prizes Involved!
Four days ’til Christmas! Have you finished (or procrastinated) your shopping and wrapping? Ignored your diet when the holiday snack tray passed under your nose? Complained about long checkout lines and other drivers who give you looks when you sing Jingle Bell Rock in your car with a little too much enthusiasm? Yes? No? Leave a comment and let me know. I’ve done all of the above. 🙂
Before I get into today’s post I’d like to send you to a couple of other blogs offering especially good advice for the holidays. If you link over—and I hope you will—please do it after you finish reading this blog so you don’t miss the details of the contest (prizes involved). Also, I need your help with something important. I’ve got a bit of a conundrum and would like your opinion. But first, here are the links:
Read the stuff these ladies have posted. You’ll be glad you did!
Okay, so here’s the deal, buttercup. My website is getting a slight makeover, and I’m changing the blog title a tad, shortening it, because right now that sucker is long and gangly. Here are the top contenders so far:
Writing in the Buff: The Naked Truth and nothing butt.
Writing in the Buff: The Naked Truth about life and stuff.
Writing in the Buff: The Naked Truth, all dressed up.
Writing in the Buff: The Naked Truth in heels & pearls.
Please help! Which of the above gets your vote for new blog title? Hate all of them? If you have a better suggestion, please share it in the comments. I’m open to anything and everything. If you make one up and I use it, you’ll win all of these prizes: a box of books by various authors, a mug with my new, yet-to-be-unveiled logo, plus an extra surprise or two thrown in for good measure.
Please vote on one of the above or provide alternate suggestions by Wednesday of next week. If I use your original suggestion, you’ll win the prizes! If I don’t choose one of your suggestions, then everyone who made a suggestion or voted will have their name put in the hat for the prize drawing.
My love and thanks to all of you, as well as warm wishes for a wonderful Christmas filled with love and laughter.
See you next Wednesday!
