Grandma’s Goulash graciously hosts Succinctly Yours, the wonderful meme for those of us addicted to microfiction. The trick is to write a story in 140 characters or less using the photo below as inspiration. To add to the challenge is the word of the week, “proliferate.”  My stories are below.

“An iguana?” Ms. Piggy cried. “Why not a dog or a cat? Or a hamster, for pity’s sake!”
“But they don’t come in green!” Kermit exclaimed.

When the zoo discovered an unusual proliferation of giant iguanas,
they consulted the renowned Brazilian herpetologist,
Dr. Liz Ards-Rool.

Enjoy the first day of August!

The doctor's name…way too clever.Did your writing friend Debra Mayhew write a book called "The Soup Bible." I connected the book and the name…If not,she has a "twin" with the same name who is really into soup. Thanks for the prize. That's one I have NOT read.
