A handsome gent from Howl-o-Weenie 2014

Today’s Observations From the Tub deals with high fashion…for Fido.

If you visit Writing in the Buff on a regular basis, then you know how much I adore my dogs. Until earlier today, I would have told you that my canine kids want for nothing, but I know now that this is not true. There is one thing they will never have: clothing designed by Anthony Rubio, master of canine couture. Click to the link, Buttercup, and take a look around. Prepare to be amazed. Or horrified. Or tickled pink. Me? I’m still in sticker shock after watching this video.

Thanks for visiting. See you Monday for Pawsitive Pondering!

Have a great weekend, y’all!

After talking this over with Touch, we’ve decided to prioritize and spend our money on treats and beer.

If people have piles of money to waste, they can always throw it my way…

My pets have always been (prepare to be shocked) both naked and, apparently, uncouth – but I had such a wonderful laugh imagining all the things they would have done to those little designer Liberace costumes! Thank you!

We’ve never been ones to dress up our dogs, either, although I’ll allow that some little not-so-furry guys are probably more comfie with sweaters on in the middle of winter. The closest we’ve come to a dressed up dog is when my daughter dressed her mini doxie as a banana for the annual Howl-o-Weenie festival. lol Not very classy, but he sure looked cute!

I’m behind again… I can’t imagine spending hundreds, let alone thousands, of dollars on pet apparel. I’d spend almost any amount of money on my baby if he were sick (he had an MRI before I ever had one- lol) but not on clothes. I think he’d probably just eat them anyway.
