Here’s this week’s Microfiction Monday, hosted by Susan at Stony River. As always, 140 characters or less must tell the story.  Here’s my twisted take on this week’s picture:

He offered the sun, moon and stars, and whisked her away on his winged steed. Silly man. It was a Lear jet and diamonds for which she pined.

    Oh, these modern girls. It's a lot easier to feed a horse than fuel a Lear Jet! And think of the carbon footprint!

    I love the old 'the sun, moon and stars' line. It works most every time. Just say it with a smile and new meanings are perceived. :)..
