Microfiction: Office Romance

Posted on Jun 5, 2011 by Lisa Ricard Claro   26 Comments | Posted in Grandma's Goulash · Succinctly Yours

Welcome to Monday’s microfiction meme, Succinctly Yours, hosted every week by Grandma’s Goulash.  The trick is  to use the photo as inspiration and write a story in 140 characters or less, incorporating the word of the week, if possible. This week’s word is “ponder.” My stories are below.

Bill struggled to pay attention to the presentation,
but he couldn’t stop fantasizing about his adorable co-worker. . .
(126 characters)

Bev felt confident about her presentation
until she spied John ogling her assets.
He obviously pondered more than her accounting figures.
(138 characters)

Please be patient with me as I make my way to the participating blogs over the next few days. My father-in-law has surgery scheduled and will be in the hospital most of this week, so I’ll be there a good deal of the time and my internet use will be much reduced. I love to read all the microfiction stories, though, so I’ll get to you eventually!
Hope y’all have a great week –

Hi Lisa, nice to see you doing µ-fiction again. 🙂 These people, both stories, have their heads up in other areas. No wonder the chart shows bad news! Business first is the business rule…Hope all turns out fine for your father-in-law…
