New Year in Paradise

Posted on Dec 27, 2017 by Lisa Ricard Claro   14 Comments | Posted in The Naked Truth

Hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas holiday and are gearing up for a terrific New Year! This is how the hubster and I spent Christmas day—having family to share it with made it all the better—and you can bet my toes will be in the sand on New Year’s Day because you know what they say: Whatever you do on New Year’s Day is how you’ll spend the rest of the year. 🙂 What are your plans for the first day of the new year?

Wishing all my friends a safe and joyous New Year’s celebration!

Love that idea to sink your toes in the sand on the first day pf the new year. Sounds like a great plan to me…I think I’ll do the same, since I live near a beach.

Don’t you love beach life, Darlene? It’s fun to live where I used to vacation. 🙂

Kicking back in the sand sounds like a fab time! I don’t have plans..,..yet…. but I’m working on it. Happy New Year!

Lisa–I don’t know how 2018 can be better than 2017 for you, but if it’s possible, I hope it happens.

    What a great picture!

2017 did set a high bar for me and the hubster given how well this big move went. I hope 2018 is wonderful for you and all my blog buddies. 🙂

You are so fortunate. I will be dieting and eating properly starting 1/1/18. Doctor’s orders! Until then… those cookies are still calling.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. I always put on pounds over the holidays, and this year was certainly no exception. I’ll be watching my diet, too, now that we’re into the New Year. Humbug.

I will be relaxing with the hubby. Time together is tough to arrange sometimes, but so worth it! Happy New Year Lisa & Joe!! xo

I love that picture of you and Joe. I hope my New Year will be a bit better than Christmas was. I’ve never had a cold (or whatever it was) come on so fast and strong and knock me flat like the one I’m finally getting over. I spent 3.5 days in bed and couldn’t even think of eating (don’t laugh, it’s true – lol).

Now I’m playing catch-up but I’m looking forward to a cruise leaving on January 6th.

Wishing you both a very Happy New Year!

So sorry you were under the weather, but glad you’re feeling better. The flu is going around. Both of my daughters were down for the count!

Enjoy your cruise! See you when you get back. 🙂
