Not From a Store. . .So Much More!

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. ~ Dr. Seuss

Christmas Eve at last! Even if you do not recognize Christmas as a religious holiday, I encourage you to join those of us who do for a celebration of joyful giving and appreciation for those we love and who love us in return. More than any other sentiment, it is abounding love that Christmas celebrates.

May we all share in that blessing!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Linda – We may actually get snow sometime late on Christmas. It will be the first time snow has accumulated here on Christmas since the 1800s! I'm torn between the excitement of a white Christmas and the annoyance of icky roads and skidding traffic. *sigh* Merry Christmas!Hey Tammy – It is my favorite, too. 🙂 My family loves the Grinch movie…Jim Carrey was brilliant. My youngest daughter used to impersonate JC as the Grinch, and she had it nailed, especially the line, "What's that stench? It's fantastic!" LOL Merry Christmas to you, too!
