Observations From the Tub: Me-owmazed! by CatConLA

Crazy Cat Michael FlickHeading to Los Angeles June 6-7? If so, drop by CatConLA, the cat lovers’ convention that is being touted as the ComicCon for cat people. There isn’t a cat in the world that wouldn’t agree this is a me-ownderful idea. Here’s the description, quoted directly from the CatConLA website:

CatConLA is a two-day weekend event happening in June, 2015, celebrating groundbreaking products and ideas in art and design, pop culture, and attitude… for cat people.

Part expo, part symposium, CatConLA showcases the world’s top cat-centric merchandise including furniture, art, toys and clothing for those of us who possess a great love of the feline, as well as conversations with some of the top cat experts in the world.”

As a cat person myself, I must admit to being intrigued. If this was CatConATL, you can bet I’d already have tickets in my hot little paws. Two days surrounded by cat stuff . . . hmm. Meow that I think about it, that doesn’t sound so different from hanging out at home!

What kind of fur flies where you live?

See you on Monday for Pawsitive Pondering. Have a great weekend, y’all!

Rob, for some reason your comments are going into my spam folder. Most perplexing. But now that I know that’s happening, I’ll be sure to check spam. Maybe after approving your comments enough the system will recognize you’re a good guy and let you through. 🙂

Oh, the fur doesn’t fly around my house. With more than one golden retriver in a very small house, the dog hair has carpeted the wood floors, and the “pile” just keeps getting deeper and deeper…

It DOES sound like a fun convention. If only it came to St. Louis…

We have collections of fur as well, Sioux. Two dogs and two cats means there is never a shortage!

Even though I’m a dog person this sounds like fun!

Bogey tried to convince me to go, but I already had plans. I’m sure it would be a meow-velous time.
