Pawsitive Pondering: D is for Dogs!

Posted on Apr 5, 2011 by Lisa Ricard Claro   15 Comments | Posted in A-Z Challenge · Buster · dogs · Pawsitive Pondering

Post #4 of the A to Z Challenge is this gem offered up by Buster, shown here taking a break after a springtime hike in the mountains with his favorite human (also one of my favorite humans…my devilishly handsome brother, Craig).

D is for Dogs:
Yes, we’re silly. Yes, we shed.
Yes, we misbehave sometimes,
but we’re only clamoring for your attention.
We will protect you with our lives and love you unconditionally
until we draw our last breath.
How many other buddies do you have that will promise you that?

Buster is a happy waggy-tail and provided the perfect picture with his loving human for today’s letter challenge. See you tomorrow for A to Z’s the letter “E”!  In the meantime, hop over to visit Miss Ali at Just Me and My Words to check out the contest she is hosting to celebrate the anniversary of her dance into Blog Land. Great prizes, and a terrific blog.

See you for tomorrow’s Pawsitive Pondering!

How true! Dogs are loyal and faithful to the day they die (far too soon) Buster looks a very happy chappie and Craig looks pretty contented, too:-)

No doubt the dogs deserve the letter D today and every day. A greeting.

Gotta love em. A lot of people I know fall below my dog in character. Not that they are so bad, just that he is so good.Loved this post.

I can't believe I'm so attached to our Beagle, Nixon. I just can't believe it.

I had a feeling it would be dog, too. Now, let me think…E is for egret? You probably got one of those around the house, right? 🙂

D for dogs is a perfect choice, Lisa…I adore my four-legged friends! Buster looks to be a fine fellow…clearly he and your brother are the best of buds. All you say here about dogs is true…is it any wonder we love them so completely…:)LynetteImagination Lane

Hi everyone – Thanks for your comments. Sorry for the blanket "thanks" but I'm heading out of town tomorrow and my time has been kerflewie (is that a word?) today. But the thanks is heartfelt just the same. I appreciate your comments!

I've had four great dogs in my life, and each soon became a very valued member of the family…
