Somebody to Love

If you’re a fan of The Voice, then you already know this season showcased some great talent. My personal favorite is Jeffery Austin, but Jordan Smith bowled me over the other night with his rendition of Queen’s “Somebody to Love.” Here it is. Wait for the run toward the end. This guy is amazing.

Here’s Jeffery Austin’s rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “Make It Rain.” Jeffery is my favorite because I love the richness of his voice. Also, he’s adorable. 🙂

If you watch The Voice, which contestant was your favorite this season? If you don’t watch, is there another contest show that you favor?

Totally random, but here’s a picture I came across of Luna back when she was all big eyes and ears. I’m sharing just because she’s flippin’ cute. My furry writing muse is all grown up now, but she’s still a sweetie pie. I swear I write better with her curled up in my lap. 🙂

Yes, it is amazing all the talent they find. Some much better than our “stars” we see and hear. You have a great weekend too!

You’re so right, Claudia! I’ve often wondered, if they had some established singers come out and audition, how many chairs would turn?

I’m planning on there being co-winners this year: Jeffery and Jordan. However, if NBC ignores my stalking and bomb threats and spittle assaults, I want Jeffery to win.

January 30th? I have to wait that long? 🙁

Love. Jeffery. One of the ways I decide a fave is whether or not I could listen to an entire CD of them. Jeffery is a definite YES. I’d listen to the phone book if he sang it. Jordan is fantastic, but a whole CD of him? Uh…I dunno.

Yes, January 30th! I’m excited, and tickled that you’re looking forward to reading it. 🙂

Luna is adorable! How fortunate that she stays in your lap. Bogey prefers to keep his lower half in my lap and upper half sprawled across the keyboard. Congrats again on the release date! Looking forward to reading it.

Luna does curl up in my lap, usually AFTER she’s tromped all over the keyboard and walked back and forth in front of the screen. lol

So glad you’re looking forward to reading book 2! 🙂

Luna is a cute baby. My big old guy loves to curl up on my lap as I write. But I am not so sure he is my muse.

My aunt faithfully watches The Voice and Dance shows. She’s rooting for Jefferey. Amazing howmuch talent is out there.

It’s true, Linda, there is so much talent. Whether someone “makes it” or not depends on the “it” factor, I suppose, whatever that really is.

Those are both great performances. I’ve seen The Voice in the past but I don’t watch any TV at all now. I used to love watching American Idol but stopped about 4 years ago.

Luna sure is a sweetie. Buttons used to have a bed on my desk when I worked from home. Much to my surprise, he would stay there without complaint all day long while I was on the phone. Any other time he would bark if I was on the phone – because he wasn’t the center of attention. LOL
