We are drowning here…water everywhere. The rain has been relentless since starting Saturday morning. The sound of rain drops has been constant. Dog sufferes as she won’t go out. It has been between 8 and 10 inches in two days. Never heard of this at Christmas season before! Mother Nature on tilt all over the country!

Us too, Claudia! A ton of rain and flash flood warnings all over the place. Today was the first nice day in a while with no rain. It was 70 degrees and sunny skies. So. Weird.

I’m actually reading your blog on the day you posted – for a change. 🙂 We’ll be playing bingo all night to welcome in the New Year. It’s lots of fun but we never seem to win (not on New Year’s eve anyway). 🙁

Sounds fun! We’re spending NYE with the same friends with whom we’ve celebrated for the last 20 years. Lots of food and games, though we say goodnight a lot earlier now than we did back in the day. There is no more dancing in the streets at midnight. lol

Lisa–A new year. 2016–and just think. You have a new novel to look forward to in just a couple of days more than a month from now.

Have a great New Year celebration, Lisa. You have lots to celebrate.

I’m still sick from the last time–fifteen years ago.

Must’ve been some party! lol We’ve had a few of those. We still celebrate, but we’re a lot quieter about it than we used to be. 🙂
