*sigh* I love bacon. It’s gluten free. How bad can it be??

Lisa–That is sooo true. And thanks for the heads-up about the e-version of your book. I’ll head over to Amazon later today.

Awww…that snowy little dog looks like it could use some bacon. And glad I haven’t missed hearing about how to preorder a print version. I want one, and I want it signed! πŸ˜‰

Be glad to do that for you! πŸ™‚ The pooch is Pistachio. He belongs to my daughter and her hubby-to-be. They have 3 other dogs, too!

Bacon, yum! There aren’t too many things I like better than bacon. We cook it in the oven, usually 4 pounds at a time, and then freeze it. When we want some to eat we just pop it into the microwave for a minute or so. With a self-cleaning oven clean-up is pretty easy. πŸ™‚

How did I get to be 54-years-old and never hear of freezing cooked bacon? That sounds like a great idea! That would really come in handy for Christmas morning when the whole fam is here—cooking enough bacon for our crowd takes some time, but this would really speed things up. Thanks for the tip!

It really is great for Christmas morning! I learned about this from a friend whose husband is a chef. It works best to use a heavy pan with high sides.

What a sweet pic! For some reason, I’ve lost my email notification to your posts. Guess I’ll have to sign up again…? And I’m excited about your release on the 20th — can’t wait! I would love to have a signed copy. Any chance you might do a signing in St. Louis?

Theresa, you may have been lost when the blog switched over. Go ahead and sign up again, and if it doesn’t work for you let me know and I’ll try to have your address added manually. I’m sorry you’re having trouble.

Alas, no. No plans for St. Louis in the near future. I have so many blogger friends up there, though—you included—that it would be a great trip, so I’ll have to see if I can swing it. Maybe next year after the third book comes out. πŸ™‚
