Happy Wednesday! We’re on the train to the weekend, and I’m excited for Saturday because the hubster is taking me to a mountain festival. I love the mountains as much as the beach, and if you know me, then you know it’s a big, big love. The North Georgia mountains are teeming with fall foliage, and it’s going to be beautiful in ways that feed my spirit. I can’t wait! Also, it is a nice way to relax after the trip to Miami last weekend and my daughter’s wedding.
The professional photographer promised photos in a few weeks, and I’ll post some of those when they’re available. Fortunately, the groom’s father is a fine photographer himself, and he snapped his camera throughout the wedding so I have some to share. A little out of order, but here you go!
As mother of the bride, I did a fine job keeping my emotions under control—until the father/daughter dance. That’s when I lost it. Here’s the song my daughter chose to dance with her daddy. So sweet.
All in all, a wonderful wedding! More pics in a few weeks. 🙂
During the last few weeks I’ve been remiss in visiting other blogs and have been mostly absent from Facebook. I’m still playing catch up, so it will probably be next week before I’m in full swing again. Please bear with me! In the meantime, have a wonderful week and weekend, and I’ll see you next Wednesday.
Thanks for hanging out with me.
