Truth or Lies – You Be the Judge!

Posted on Mar 24, 2010 by Lisa Ricard Claro   6 Comments | Posted in lies · list · truth

Greetings, blogging buddies! Several of you asked me off-line which of the seven items from my last post are lies and which are true. I’m going to give y’all a hint, and I look forward to seeing which you peg as truth or lies.

Of the 7 tales I told:  1 was a dream, 2 are outright lies, and 4 are the absolute truth, nothing but the truth, so help me blog!

Need more of a hint? Here you go:

There was a list of seven,
and not all of it was lies.
The truth, in fact, was prominent
though slightly in disguise.

So do you think you know me
well enough to guess
which numbers 1-7
are more honest than the rest?

In life there are some crazy things
that somehow come to pass,
and in the end the wildest stuff
will bite us in the…well, you know…

Okay, so that silly little poem doesn’t offer much in the way of hinting, but it was fun to write on the fly.

So give it a guess, buttercup! Which of the 7 is a dream? Which 2 are total fabrications? Which 4 do you think are the real deal?

Til next time-
Lisa

Okay, although I've been really wrong on most of the others, I'll give this a try! I say that Number 2 is the Dream: Don Johnson….sigh!!I say that Numbers 5 and 7 are false: TV news and child birth. So that leaves 1, 3, 4, & 6 as true. How did I do?!

Love the poem! Not knowing you very well, my answers are not a reflection of you of any sort, but I'm guessing the first three are made up or a dream. Not that I don't think you are worthy of Hollywood types taking you out or blowing you kisses, I just don't think they would do that to anyone. But what do I know?

Hi Lynn – I can't argue with your logic. It seems sound…not entirely right, though! I'll let you know how close you came when I post next time. Thanks for playing my silly game!

Lisa, your poem is cute. I say #1 is true; Don R would likely do that, but then again, that lard butt on a bike? #2 Don J, true. #3 a dream,I've had this kind! #4 true, and #5 true, because we writers get passionate about a cause and will do anything for media exposure. #6 is a lie and # 7 is a lie. Okay, fess up.
