What Thing Doesn’t Belong Here?

Here’s today’s Pawsitive Pondering! Have a great week!

Rigby on the couch - you're home early

What do your dogs do when you’re not home? Have you ever caught them “red-pawed” doing something they know is taboo? Such as Rigby, lounging on the sofa? (In his defense, he was allowed on the old sofa. I honestly wouldn’t mind him sleeping on this one either, so maybe Dad can be persuaded…)

Please come back on Wednesday. Jami Gray (author of The Kyn KroniclesShadow’s Edge, Shadow’s Soul, Shadow’s Moon, and Shadow’s Curse) will be guest posting.

Have a great Monday, y’all –

P.S.  The cover for book #2 in the Fireflies series, Love to Believe, is almost ready! Melissa Stevens/The Illustrated Author has outdone herself again. The cover is so beautiful! I can’t wait to share it with you. I’ll post it here as soon as I get the go ahead from my publisher.

Ah, the cover! Melissa really did an amazing job. Remind me, and I’ll show you at conference. 🙂

Well, our baby is allowed just about anywhere, except on the table and you have a picture of how that went down one morning. 🙂 The very first day I brought him home from the shelter he ended up on our bed and made himself very comfy on my pillow. Our lives haven’t been quite the same since then. 🙂

I can’t wait to see the next book cover! Hope you are having a great time in NYC.

Buttons knows how to work that cuteness to his advantage!

I’m leaving today for conference—very excited to see friends I made last year and hang out with my tribe.

The cover is so beautiful. I’ll show it on next week’s post!

I thought my dog had killed a chicken when I saw feathers flying when I walked in. She was romping in pillow stuffings.

Hahaha…I’d love to have seen your expression. Bet you didn’t know whether to be relieved about the chicken, or annoyed about the pillow destruction. I bet relief trumped it. 🙂

If only the pets would clean house or organize the pantry while you were gone…:) Have a great week!

I know, right? lol The ungrateful little boogers. With as much as they shed, the least they could do is vacuum once in a while!

I crated Touch when I couldn’t leave her in the yard until she was grown. Now I leave her in the house if it’s real hot. She just lies on her bed–I think.

Haha…From what I’ve read about Touch, she’s got you wrapped around her paw. She probably throws wild parties for all the dogs in the neighborhood because she knows you’ll love her no matter what. 🙂

What an adorable picture! I used to find a mussed-up, dog-shaped depression on top of my comforter when I got home. And a very sweet, innocent dog waiting for me at the door.
